Red Malachite is actually a type of Banded Jasper that closely resembles the banded patterns found in natural Green Malachite.

It is Not Malachite.

Red is often considered a colour of energy and courage, giving this stone an air of fiery encouragement.

Banded jaspers are also well-known as grounding stones that help to centre the individual wearer.

This Jasper is also used to calm and soothe while encouraging inward reflection.
