This stone is a beautiful blue Beryl. The name Beryl comes from Greek βήρυλλος Beryllos, which referred to a “precious blue-green colour-of-sea-water stone”. The ancient Greeks and Romans believed that aquamarine would protect against any dangers while travelling at sea. They would carry small stones of Aquamarine to throw overboard in a storm as a sacrifice to Poseidon and Neptune to appease the storm.
Used often with the Throat Chakra, this stone can promote verbal self-expression. It enhances spiritual communication and clear communication blocks.
