It is also known as Eclipse stone and as Fumarolic or Fumarole Jasper.
It combines volcanic matter, anhydrite, hematite, sulfur, arsenic, etc.
As some have called it, there is much debate over whether it is a genuine jasper or calcite.
The lovely patterns on this stone often imitate the colouring found on bumblebees, hence the name.
The yellow colouring is due to sulfur, which is toxic, as is arsenic, so take care- always wash your hands after handling.
