Blue Agate belongs to the Chalcedony family.
Theophrastus, a Greek philosopher, gave agates their name.
He discovered the stone along the banks of Achates River (Ancient Greek: Ἀχάτης) in Sicily, sometime between the 4th and 3rd centuries BC.
It fosters love, abundance, wealth, good luck, longevity, acceptance, courage, and protection.
Agates are considered Power Stones.
They are very grounding, reliable and stable.
All Agates have excellent protective and healing energy and stimulate analytical capabilities and precision.
If you have to deal with numbers, Excel spreadsheets, charts, and accounts, an Agate crystal on your desk will help you be more precise.
It also helps awaken (discover) your inherent natural talents.
A good stone for those in banking or who are treasurers of a club
